SHINee's Onew has performed not just as a SHINee member and a solo artist, but has also worked with some of the K-pop industry's finest musicians. Here are 10 of his duets and collaborations that you will definitely add to your playlist.

Listen to any SHINee song and you will immediately distinguish the members' voices from one another, especially that of group leader Onew. He has this unique caramel voice that is just so soothing to the ears, you'd want to hear him hit--and sustain--those high notes over and over again.

But Onew isn't just a SHINee member. He has also released two mini albums,one full album, headlined theater musicals and solo concerts, and starred in variety shows and TV dramas. His 16 years in the industry are also filled with various musical collaborations. In celebration of his return from a 10-month hiatus, we listed down 10 of these duets and collabs that you need to listen to.

1. "Way" - Onew and Punch

Korean singer Punch, best known for singing K-drama soundtracks, is featured in Onew's SM STATION track "Way" released in December 2021. Onew also participated in writing the lyrics along with songwriter Kim Eana.

2. "Starry Night" - Onew and Lee Jin-ah

Another SM STATION song, "Starry Night" is a 2016 duet by Onew and singer-songwriter and pianist Lee Jin-ah where they sing about becoming each other's star in the night.

3. "Lullaby" - Onew and ROCOBERRY

Onew collaborated with Korean indie duo ROCOBERRY in his third SM STATION track titled "Lullaby." It is a calming ballad that showcased their vocal prowess and created the demand for Onew to release a solo song at that time.

4. "Good-Bye Days" - Onew and Kei

In 2021, Onew returned to the theater stage when he was one of the actors who starred as the male lead Haram in the musical Midnight Sun. "Good-Bye Days" is part of its original soundtrack, which he performed with Lovelyz's Kei, who was one of the actresses who played the female lead Haena.

5. "Sunshine" - Onew and Suhyun

"Sunshine," which is off of Onew's DICE album, is already a delight to listen to with just his voice. This duet version with AKMU's Suhyun, which was shot during Onew's Jinki Jangpan web show, made it even more amazing. One YouTube comment said "This song deserves [an] MV" and we couldn't agree more.

5. "Selene 6.23" - Onew and Sungwoo Jung-a

Onew had a lot of collaborative performances in the 2021 Korean reality show Sea of Hope. One of his most memorable and emotional duets is with singer-songwriter and producer Sunwoo Jung-a when they sang SHINee's "Selene 6.23."

6. "An Encore" - Onew and Lee Dong-wook

Actor Lee Dong-wook was one lucky Shawol when he got to sing SHINee's "An Encore" with Onew in Sea of Hope.

7. "Please Don't Go" - Onew and Jonghyun

"Please Don't Go" may be listed as a SHINee song, but it is actually an Onew and Jonghyun duet. It remains to be one of K-pop's best duets, with their voices perfectly complementing each other.

8. "Exhausted" - Onew and Jung Yong-hwa

Onew and CNBLUE's leader Jung Yong-hwa gave Yoon Jong-shin's "Exhausted" a different feel when they performed this song together at the 2016 KBS Song Festival.

9. "Beauty and the Beast" - Onew and Luna

It's time for a throwback! SHINee and f(x) were guests in Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate music show back in January 2010, where Onew and Luna sang the theme song of the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast.

10. 'Ordinary Day' - Onew, Kyuhyun, and Taeil

Two other vocal powerhouses, Super Junior's Kyuhyun and NCT's Taeil, joined Onew in the special collaboration track "Ordinary Day" for the 2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS album.
