The beauty queen turned award-winning Bollywood actress won the title during the 43rd Miss Universe pageant at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center back in May 20, 1994.

She wrote on Instagram: "I am soooooooo excited, emotional and looking forward to returning home to the Philippines after 23 years."
