Ok Taecyeon married his longtime non-showbiz partner in private ceremony attended by fellow 2PM members and actor Song Joong-ki.
Ok Taecyeon has officially tied the knot with his non-showbiz partner, marking a new chapter in his life surrounded by longtime friends and loved ones.
According to a report by The Korea Times, the 2PM member held a private wedding ceremony on April 24 at The Shilla Seoul, attended by close family, relatives, and trusted acquaintances.
The intimate celebration drew attention as all members of 2PM were present, showcasing their enduring bond more than a decade after their debut. Hwang Chansung hosted the ceremony, while Jun. K, Nichkhun, and Lee Junho serenaded the couple with congratulatory songs, adding a heartfelt touch to the occasion.
The members appeared in coordinated black suits, with Nichkhun standing out in a lighter-colored jacket.
Among the notable attendees was actor Song Joong-ki, further highlighting the star-studded yet intimate nature of the event.
According to online communities on the 27th, photos from Ok Taecyeon's private wedding on the 24th at The Shilla Seoul quickly spread across Chinese platforms before making their way to Korean online communities. The images are believed to have been taken by a hotel guest from a room overlooking the venue. Official wedding photos have yet to be uploaded on social media as of writing,
Taecyeon had been in a relationship with his partner for 10 years before tying the knot. He first announced his engagement in November 2025 through a heartfelt message.
"I have promised to spend the rest of my life with one person who has understood and trusted me for a long time. We plan to walk the path of life together while becoming pillars of support for one another in the future," he shared.
"Once again, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported me with an unchanging heart and made it possible for me to become the person I am today. You don't know how much strength your love and support has given me, to the extent where I can't fully express it in words alone," he added.
Taecyeon debuted in 2008 as a member of 2PM, which went on to release hit albums such as 01:59PM, Hands Up, Grown, Go Crazy!, and No. 5.
He later expanded into acting, appearing in popular series including Cinderella's Sister, Dream High, Assembly, Vincenzo, Secret Royal Inspector & JoY, and Heartbeat.
The wedding not only marked a personal milestone for Taecyeon, but also served as a touching reunion for 2PM, reaffirming the group's lasting friendship and unity.
