Try these three tourist attractions for a merrier Christmas in Negros Occidental!

Make your Christmas merrier than ever! Especially in the Philippines where togetherness is a tradition, it is comforting to know that there are tourist attractions made for the enjoyment of family and friends.

Biyahe Ni Drew wandered around The City of Smiles, a.k.a. Bacolod City, and other cities of Negros Occidental in search for the best places where people can bond this holiday season.

Here are the three destinations featured in this week's episode:

1. Bamboo Tonogbanua's Miniature Village

Location: San Juan Street, Brgy. 13, Bacolod City

Here in the Philippines, you can now experience Christmas from all around the world!

Bamboo Tonogbanua's Miniature Village is a collection of his souvenirs from different countries since 1996. This holiday season, his Christmas village is open for tourists from 6:00pm to 9:00pm everyday for free. Donations are also very much appreciated!

2. Magikland Park

Location: Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City

Calling all the kids at heart, the Magikland Park is for you!

This tourist spot is a newly-opened outdoor theme park in Western Visayas, and it already boasts 12 amazing rides and stunning attractions. For only PhP 520, you can get a good deal of fun and excitement every Friday to Sunday.

3. Campuestohan Highland Resort

Location: Brgy. Cabatanga, Talisay City

Campuestohan Highland Resort is a must-visit any time of the year, but it turns into an enchanting Christmas land filled with artificial snow during December.

The life-size characters found throughout the property are also touched by the Christmas spirit, with King Kong becoming Santa Kong.

You can explore this resort and enjoy the cool weather by paying an entrance fee of only PhP 200 per person. Cottages for day trips and overnight stays are also available for rent.
