Can their love team of Marky Cielo and Glaiza De Castro stand the introduction of the spunky Stef Prescott?
The love team of Marky Cielo and Glaiza De Castro has been tried and tested again and again. Fans love it. But what happens when a new ingredient is added to this already successful mix? Can their love team stand the introduction of the spunky Stef Prescott? On GMA-7’s newest offering, Boys Nxt Door, Marky Cielo is paired with StarStruck 4 Avenger Stef Prescott. This time, usual love team mate Glaiza De Castro is playing his doting best friend. But their friendship may not be purely platonic. After having tested the successful Marky-Glaiza tandem on Fantastikids and Asian Treasures, it’s certainly a surprise that the tandem is going to be broken up. But of course, the nature of love triangles is that all three actors will be interacting a lot with one another. For Marky and Glaiza, this is nothing new as they’ve already worked extensively with one another before Boys Nxt Door. “This time, hindi na kami magkaka-ilangan (ni Glaiza),” Marky imparted, saying that he’s more at ease with Glaiza now compared to their first time working together in Fantastikids. “Close na kami ngayon eh.” “Si Marky masarap siyang ka-trabaho,” Glaiza revealed. “Unang-una very professional siya, tapos hindi mo siya makitaan ng hindi magandang ugali, so magaan siyang ka-trabaho. Tapos, kapag magkasama na kami sa eksena nadadala naming iyong isa’t isa, hindi kami nagsasapawan.” As for Stef, she feels thrilled to be working with the two, “Masaya ako siyempre, kasi mas-nauna sila sa akin at may chance ako makapartner sila.” The Triangle “Si Isabel (Stef), na-meet ko siya nung bumisita ako sa puntod ng tatay ko,” Marky told iGMA. “Naging friends agad, na-love-at-first-sight si Buboy.” But Marky also revealed that his character doesn’t know anything about Glaiza’s character Sari having feelings for him. “Nasa isang angulo pa lang siya. Hindi pa siya open sa nararamdaman ni Sari.” “Medyo makakaselosan,” Stef injected, sharing that Sari will definitely feel jealous of her character even though they’re friends. “Ako yung gagawing bridge!” Glaiza squealed, she disclosed that Sari and Isabel are friends so Buboy will ask her to help him get to know Isabel. “Kahit na ayaw ko, tina-try ko pa rin na magkalapit sila sa isa’t isa.” But Sari has her own motives. “Kapag lumalapit yung mukha ni Buboy, chine-cherish ni Sari ‘yung mga moments na ‘yun.” It's just the right amount of kilig that fuels the hearts of teens everywhere. Who will Buboy fall for in the end? Will Sari ever let him know how she really feels? And what does Isabel feel for Buboy? How will it all play out?
