Abot Kamay Na Pangarap

Good news for Kapuso viewers as GMA Afternoon Prime series 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap' is extended until June.

GMA Assistant Vice President for GMA Afternoon Prime Ali Marie Nokom-Dedicatoria revealed that GMA's top-rating series Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap is extended until June.

During the media conference of the upcoming series Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law, the first legal series in the country, Ms. Ali said they wanted to do the medical-drama series and the legal-drama series back-to-back for the audience.

"Actually pangarap namin talaga na i-back-to-back 'yung 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,' which is a medical series, at 'yung Lilet Matias," she said during the press conference.

"And we're so lucky na 'yung GMA management has extended 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap' until June para maabutan nila 'yung 'Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law.'

"'Yung 'Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law,' will equally attain kung ano man 'yung nakarating ng 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,' or surpass it. That's our goal."

Starting March 4, Monday, Abot-Kamay na Pangarap airs at 2:35 P.M., followed by Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law, at 3:20 P.M.

GMA Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy said that this new lineup of GMA, both in the Afternoon Prime and in the primetime, will reflect the trademark of GMA Drama.

"Hindi lang siya sa afternoon soaps, I think it's the brand of GMA Drama. We're always conscious to inject 'yung mga culturally and socially relevant issues. 'Yun ang tatak ng GMA Drama," she said.

"Feeling ko, [Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law] will run as long as 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap' is running, kasi 'Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap' has been on air for more than a year.

"We hope to replicate the success in 'Lilet Matias, Attorney-At-Law.'"
