
American singer and songwriter Adam Lambert collaborated online with members of the iconic band Queen--Brian May, Roger Taylor, to create a new version of Queen's classic hit "We Are the Champions."
"You Are the Champions" was released as part of a donation drive 'Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund.' All proceeds will be given to frontliners through the World Health Organization's in their fight against COVID-19.
The video began with a message for all frontliners, "To all you frontline warriors fighting coronavirus around the world..."
Queen and Adam Lambert's "You Are The Champions" was recorded virtually through mobile phones between London and Los Angeles in lockdown.
Currently, the video has garnered over two million views and has raised $4,660,627 since it was uploaded on April 30 on Queen Official's YouTube channel.
