Kapuso actor Addy Raj reminisced on his Meant To Be days now that the show is airing again on GMA Telebabad.
He recalled how the cast and crew treated him like family and accepted his Tagalog flaws as he's an Indian national who recently moved to the Philippines.
During his Kapuso Showbiz News interview, Addy said, "Sobrang close ng buong cast ng Meant To Be, lalo na para sakin kasi ito 'yung unang project ko sa showbiz.
"Each member of the cast helped me so much. Dati sobrang mahina 'yung Tagalog ko so hindi ko alam 'yung mga nangyayari.
"Nung time na 'yun hindi ako masyado marunong mag-Tagalog so I'm just memorizing words so minsan hindi ko alam 'yung ibig sabihin. Hindi ako sure kung ano 'yung sinasabi ko so they had to be patient with me.
"People were so nice to me, in the whole taping of Meant To Be for six or seven months. There was not a single time anyone lost patience with me. Naiintindihan naman nila na dayuhan ako and hindi ako marunong mag-Tagalog that time. I'm so grateful to them that they treated me in such a nice way.
"They're my first real friends."
He also remembered a scene where lead actress Barbie Forteza had a scene with him and despite his difficulties in Tagalog, Barbie remained professional.
"Naalala ko may isang eksena na umiiyak si Barbie tapos sa gitna ng eksena nakalimutan ko 'yung lines ko.
"Pero hindi naputol 'yung emotions niya, she kept going kahit mali mali 'yung sinasabi ko, kahit natatawa talaga siya. She's so professional."
He noted that the biggest change he's had since the show aired is his Tagalog.
"'Yung main difference is pagdating sa Tagalog ko.
"Sobrang mahilig na nga ako ngayon sa OPM rap, mas gusto ko na talaga ang Tagalog rap.
"Besides the showbiz side and acting side, dahil sobrang tagal ng Meant To Be."
He also shared that he even made a rap version of the show's theme song, "Kahit Sino Ka Man."
"Dahil nagra-run 'yung Meant To Be, I made time for a remake of the theme song.
