
aespa's Giselle took to social media to express her sincerest apology after allegedly mouthing a racial slur in SZA's song “Love Galore.”
According to a report by K-entertainment portal Soompi, fans noticed that Giselle uttered the “N-word” in a behind-the-scenes video taken during the jacket shoot for aespa's latest single “Savage.”
These fans quickly pointed out that in the video, Giselle mouthed the controversial word, which was part of the "Love Galore" lyrics.
Today, October 25, Giselle issued an official apology through the aespa Twitter account.
She said, “Hello, this is GISELLE.
“I would like to apologize for mouthing the wrongful word from the lyrics of the song that was playing on-site. I had no intentions of doing it with any purpose and got carried away when one of my favorite artist's song was played. I sincerely apologize.”
“I will continue to learn and be more conscious of my actions.”
