In the latest episode of Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda's vlog, published on December 21, Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo was asked about the advocacies she carries in every pageant she joins.
After joining several pageants for years, Vice Ganda asked if Ahtisa's advocacies evolved or shifted with every pageant she entered.
“Ang dami mo nang pageants na sinalihan. Iba-iba 'yong advocacy na binibitawan mo?” Vice asked.
Ahtisa answered: “Ako, hindi. Kasi hindi rin ako naniniwalang you have to have an advocacy para maging beauty queen ka.”
She further emphasized that while advocacies are important, maintaining a genuine passion for one's work is an equally vital key to success in pageantry.
“I think it's something that you're passionate about, e. Ako, I just so happen to be passionate about youth empowerment and education kasi that's based on my experience,” Ahtisa explained.

According to the Pinay beauty queen, every time she walks the ramp, she brings that deep-seated passion with her.
Ahtisa has long been dedicated to Alon Akademie, a non-profit that champions youth empowerment through education and entrepreneurship.
During the Miss Universe pageant, she mentioned, “I work with an organization called Alon Akademie where we work with young people to provide them opportunities to make them realize that it doesn't matter what your life circumstances is, it doesn't define where you will go. And I want to continue working with Alon Academy in a platform like Miss Universe to pursue making sure that people from low-income backgrounds are given the same opportunities like everyone else."
Her dedication to Alon Akademie, an organization she championed long before the bright lights of Miss Universe, proves that her heart for youth empowerment is no mere pageant requirement.
Even after the Miss Universe competition has ended, Ahtisa's work is far from over, as she officially commits to sustaining her partnership with the group.
