Comedy Concert Queen AiAi Delas Alas continues to embrace a new chapter in her life as she lets go of her wedding and engagement rings.

In a recent episode of Boss Toyo's Pinoy Pawnstars vlog, the comedienne paid a visit to his shop to sell the jewelry she received from her ex-husband, Gerald Sibayan.

“Ang gusto ko, ang aking pain ay ida-divert ko sa hope. At part din ito ng closure,” AiAi said before presenting the rings.

Both pieces featured silver frames adorned with studded diamonds.

According to the Comedy Queen, she had lost her diamond-crusted wedding ring three times in the past, with Gerald buying her a replacement each time.

“I think 'yun ay sign,” she shared. “Dati sabi niya (ni Gerald), 'Ito last mo na 'to, ha. Ito, kapag winala mo pa, wala na. Hindi na kita ibibili.'”

Turning pain into purpose, AiAi revealed that the proceeds from the sale would be donated to Life Saver, an organization that helps cancer patients.

“Bukod sa ayoko na rin maalala, para may closure na rin. And maganda 'yung closure kasi may pupuntahan siyang maganda,” she said.

During the vlog, AiAi also looked back on her past relationship with Gerald, recalling how she supported his studies as a pilot before they eventually got married.

She noted that while Gerald did not have a high income at the time, he still made an effort to give her meaningful jewelry.

Despite the pain of their breakup, AiAi shared that she chooses not to dwell on bitterness, acknowledging that they also shared good memories.

“Ayoko na rin maging bitter kasi syempre naiintindihan ko naman na bata pa siya, na magbabago isip niya.”

According to the actress, the early years of their relationship were stable, but things eventually changed.

“Pero kasi nag-cheat na rin siya ika-third year, so hindi na rin masaya,” AiAi said.

She also shared that the end of their 10-year relationship came as a shock.

“Hindi ako ready,” she admitted. “More of shock than pain. Iba-iba 'yung phase eh; later on na 'yung pain.

“Alam ko naman na wala 'kong pagkukulang sa kanya kasi 'yung time na nag-cheat siya, tinanggap ko pa rin siya.”

In the end, AiAi decided to sell the rings for PhP 350,000. Boss Toyo initially offered PhP 250,000, which became their final deal.

Last November 2024, AiAi publicly confirmed her separation from Gerald in an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. She shared that their inability to have a child played a significant role in their decision to part ways, with hints of a possible third party.

Later on, the comedienne also revealed that her ex-husband's Green Card was revoked. Reports stated that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) granted her appeal—something AiAi herself confirmed through her social media accounts.
