Kapuso singer Aicelle Santos was sent off to the airport by friends, family, and her fiancé, Kapuso reporter Mark Zambrano

TV producer Noel Ferrer uploaded a photo of Aicelle with Mark at the airport. She is set to fly to the UK this March 22 for her role as Gigi van Tranh for the UK tour of Miss Saigon.

Aicelle will be in the UK for more or less a year, but the singer feels this would not affect her engagement to Mark. In an interview, she said, “Short time lang naman ‘yun eh, mabilis lang, and it’s something that I need to do, something na I need to experience.”

She also admitted she will definitely get homesick while she’s in the UK. She looks forward to coming home. “Happy, excited, at the same time mami-miss ‘yung pamilya, and him [Mark]. But it will be okay.”
