Celebrity mom Aicelle Santos took to Instagram to advise her followers to take the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country seriously.
As the Philippines marked the first anniversary of the community lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19, many are sensing deja vu after the country recently recorded a spike in coronavirus cases.
According to the latest Department of Health (DOH) data, the Philippines added 5,404 new cases yesterday, March 16. Currently, the total number of cases is 626,893.
Because of this alarming development, international Broadway star Aicelle Santos used her star power to remind everyone to be extra vigilant amid this ongoing pandemic.
The Centerstage judge posted on Instagram Story a photo of her with baby Zandrine Anne while wearing a face mask.
She wrote in the caption that people should always follow the strict health protocols to protect themselves from COVID-19.
“Mejo nagrelax tayo nitong mga nakaraang Linggo at buwan. Kung hindi kayo takot magkaroon ng COVID, matakot po kayo para sa mahal n'yo sa buhay.
“Pls observe the necessary health protocols. Social distancing, face shields and masks are a must! Avoid gatherings kahit pagbisita sa mga kamag-anak.”
“Back to square 1 na naman tayo!!! Mag-ingat ang lahat.”

Zandrine Anne came into the couple's lives a year after their gorgeous garden wedding in San Juan, Batangas in November 2019.
