Onemig Bondoc with Aiko Melendez: 'Happy together... after 29 yrs.'
The buzz continues around Aiko Melendez's love life as dating speculations with Onemig Bondoc surfaced online.
In livestream sessions, the pair sparked kilig vibes among viewers with their sweet interactions and candid stories about each other. Onemig was seen affectionately hugging Aiko, holding her hand, and showing playful closeness during the streams.
Aiko Melendez clarified that their bond initially stemmed from friendship. However, it was later revealed that Onemig Bondoc is currently courting the actress-politician.
She shared that his efforts include giving her flowers and letters, sending thoughtful messages, and spending long hours bonding over phone calls.
"Over sa ex niya, I was over with my ex, so it's right timing," Onemig said in one of their streams.
"Actually matagal na namin na-realize na mahal namin ang isa't-isa. It was just pride na talaga nagpahiwalay sa amin (noon)," he added.
Speculation further intensified when the T.G.I.S. star posted a photo of himself with Aiko on Instagram. He wrote in the captions, "Happy together....after 29 yrs."
Fans quickly flooded the comments with messages of support and excitement. Aiko's daughter, Marthena Jickain, even dropped a reaction "Aww ❤️" while her sister, Michiko Castaneda Bibit, wrote "Love it! Happy for you guys!"
Earlier this January, Aiko uploaded a vlog featuring well-known psychic Jay Costura.
Jay predicted that the actress's love life would flourish this year with a supportive partner—possibly a businessman with children from a previous relationship.
"Nasa kanya ang diamond. Ibig sabihin 'di siya maging pabigat sa buhay mo. Kaya niyang isu-stain or kaya ka niyang suportahan," Jay said.
Aiko officially announced her separation from Zambales Representative Jay Khonghun in October 2025. According to the Quezon City councilor, the decision to part ways was mutual.
Meanwhile, Onemig Bondoc separated from his ex-wife Valerie Bariou way back in September 2014, but already living apart since October 2013.
