"Kahit hindi okay ang relasyon namin ng tatay mo, gusto ko hindi nila i-hate ang mga tatay nila," said Aiko Melendez on her 45th birthday vlog.
Aiko Melendez celebrated her 45th birthday on December 16 and her good friend, Ogie Diaz, documented the celebration for her YouTube channel.
In Aiko's latest vlog, Ogie asked Aiko's eldest child, Andre Yllana, the most memorable thing Aiko did for him.
"'Yung ano, 'yung kinaya niya nang mag-isa," Andre answered.
Ogie replied, "Kinaya niyang mag-isa. Bakit, anong ginagawa ng tatay mo? Wala?"
Andre's father is Jomari Yllana, Aiko's first husband.
Andre replied, "As a single mom."
Aiko then said, "Kasi 'yun ang itinuturo ko sa kanya, kahit [gaano] man kasama o hindi kagandahan 'yung relasyon namin ng tatay mo, sa ngayon, bumabawi naman kahit papaano ang kanyang tatay."
"At kahit hindi okay ang relasyon namin ng tatay mo, gusto ko, hindi nila i-hate ang mga tatay nila."
Aiko's youngest child, Marthena, is her daughter with Martin Jickain. Marthena also answered Ogie's earlier question about the most memorable thing her mom did for her.
She replied, "Uhm, naalala ko she'd wake up early for my games even though like she just came from the taping. And I think it's really meaningful."
Marthena plays volleyball for Saint Pedro Poveda College's women's volleyball team.
Aiko's boyfriend, Zambales vice governor Jay Khonghun was also present in the celebration, alongside their closest friends and family. Guests underwent a RT-PCR test and they all tested negative.

In her vlogs, Aiko almost always features Andre where they talk about anything and everything. In one of her vlogs, the Prima Donnas star showed netizens how close they are as mother-and-son as they openly talked about sex.
Aiko asked Andre, “May question ako. Virgin ka pa ba?”
Though he felt awkward, Andre answered, “Ang bulgar naman nun!”
He explained, “Siyempre, 21 na ako. Siyempre, hindi na.”
Aiko was caught off guard with Andre's answer. She said, “Nakaka-shock naman 'yon.”
“Ah talaga?”
Since Andre is already feeling awkward, he asked Aiko when did she lose her virginity.
He said, “Ikaw? How old were you?”
Aiko revealed, “I was 22. Noong 22 ako, 'yung tatay mo pa 'yung, basta 'yun.”
“Ang first boyfriend ko si Aga [Muhlach] pero walang nangyari sa amin, hello.
“Mamatay man, ito magkamalas-malas na, wala talaga nangyari sa amin.
“Wala talaga, peksman, cross my heart.”
