As a single mom raising a child diagnosed with autism, Candy has proven her unwavering dedication and unconditional love as a parent. Meanwhile, Quentin's pure heart and eagerness to try new things despite his condition have earned praise from netizens.
In a recent vlog by Aiko Melendez, Quentin brought good vibes once again as he challenged himself in the kitchen.
With excitement, Candy's son took on tasks such as washing the dishes, cooking bolognese pasta, and even plating the dish. Adding a dose of comedy, he playfully pushed his mom away from the kitchen so he could focus on the challenges.
At the end of the vlog, Aiko rewarded Quentin with Php 5,000 and later surprised him with an additional gift.
But beyond Quentin's efforts, Aiko was equally amazed at how Candy has raised her son with so much love and commitment.
"Dapat palakpakan natin hindi lang si Q, pati si Candy rin. Kasi sobra talaga 'yung dedication niya, 'yung pagmamahal, at 'yung lahat-lahat binibigay niya kay Quentin," she said. "Hindi lahat ng magulang na katulad niya na may anak na special needs ay ganyan 'yung atensyon na binibigay."
She also highlighted how acceptance has been key in the strong bond between mother and son, adding that Quentin's cheerful spirit gave her good vibes the entire day.
Besides the video, Aiko also took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the two.
"An afternoon well spent with my inaanak, Quentin. Thank you, bes, Candy Pangilinan for sharing him with me. It was such a joy to laugh, play, and simply be in the moment with him. Quentin is such a smart, affectionate, and insightful boy. His presence has a way of making you pause and appreciate the little things in life. Love you my inaanak."
