Actress AJ Raval displayed a sense of humor about the age difference between her and current partner Aljur Abrenica as she took part in a social media trend.

The “I wish I met you sooner” trend has couples sharing throwback photos of themselves from the same year, and AJ participated in the trend by showing a childhood photo of her in 2007, and then showing a clip of Aljur from the GMA show Zaido: Pulis Pagkalawakan. In the caption to the post, AJ wrote: “Sorry Aljur hahaha cutie.”

AJ and Aljur first met on the set of Nerisa, a film the pair made, with Aljur giving her flowers during the shoot. AJ shared that Aljur first courted her parents before the two of them eventually got together.

AJ would eventually open up about her family with Aljur on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, where she revealed that she is already a mother of five children, with the three youngest kids being Aljur's.

After the revelation, AJ publicly posted about a family outing with Aljur and her children on Instagram. She shared a video featuring Aljur and their children, Aikena, Junior, and Abraham, celebrating Thanksgiving Day. Also present were Kylie Padilla and Aljur's children, Alas and Axl, marking their first family outing together.

“With all my heart and deepest respect, I give all the glory back to You, Lord. Thank You for every blessing, for every moment of grace, and for saving me in ways I can never fully express,” she wrote in the caption.

“Today, on our first family outing and this Thanksgiving Day, my heart overflows with gratitude for Your love that never fails,” AJ added.
