After more than a decade, Albert Martinez is coming home to GMA Network with a new project!
Acclaimed actor and filmmaker Albert Martinez is set to return to GMA Network very soon!
On a post made by the network through its official Instagram account, the 59-year-old is announced to be working on a GMA Afternoon Prime soap.
It said on the post, “Something's cooking with @albertmartinezph! Abangan 'yan soon on GMA Afternoon Prime!”
The photo shows a screen capture of the actor having a Zoom meeting with some of GMA's biggest names, including Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Creative Head RJ Nuevas, Creative Consultant Kit Villanueva Zapata, Head Writer Geng Delgado, Project Manager Camille Hermoso-Hafezan, and Executive Producer Marissa Hilario.

During the Zoom meeting, Albert Martinez was quoted to say, “I am excited about this project, and I want to tape it the soonest.”
It can be recalled that Albert made his television debut under GMA Network in the 1980 teleserye Anna Liza as Glenn, the suitor of the titular protagonist played by Julie Vega.
He then starred in the teleseryes Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin in 2001, Habang Kapiling Ka in 2002, and finally, Twin Hearts in 2003, which starred Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Tanya Garcia, Dennis Trillo, and Karylle.
