Multimedia star and Centerstage host Alden Richards is widely-known for being an affectionate and caring friend, workmate, and even as an idol.
However, he admitted recently that he's still learning to be better every time.
Alden expressed his excitement and pride for being the show's host during Centerstage grand media launch last Thursday, February 6.
“Ngayon po, I'm going to be hosting Centerstage as one of the main hosts.
“And I'm very proud of this show kasi it's an original concept of GMA.
“So, talagang pinag-isipan po ito nang masinsinan para mabigyan po ng bagong flavor 'yung singing contest.
“And now po, 'yung unang roster po ng contestants na ipapakita natin is for the kids,” he said.

Alden also shared the possibility of having another season of Centerstage for aspiring adult singers.
“Pero not necessarily naman po na ang contest ay para sa mga bata. For now po mga bata muna, and then, later on, we will progress into a much older age group,” he added.
The famed actor also related that the show helps him to be a better “Kuya.”
“So 'yung 'Centerstage' po, ang ine-expect ng mga bata, it's going to be fun, it's going to be inspirational, and mas nahuhubog nito, napu-push po nito 'yung pagiging Kuya ko sa mga bata.
“Siyempre, mga bata po 'yung contestants natin. We want them to be inspired and motivated, na even though hindi sila 'yung makuha sa contest na 'to, this will not be the end but the start of their journey as singers.
“'Yun po 'yung ine-encourage namin na maging image ng show sa mga bata, especially to the parents,” he said.
Meanwhile, beginning February 16, Kapuso viewers are in for a unique watching experience as extremely talented kids sing and move forward in achieving their dreams on GMA Network's newest musical competition Centerstage.
