'Hello, Love, Again' has reached the Top 10 movies in the US during its opening weekend, debuting at the eighth spot.

Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo are in the US to promote Hello, Love, Again and to represent the film at the Asian Word Film Festival, where it was chosen as the closing film.

In an interview with GMA Pinoy TV, Alden shared his hopes for Hello, Love, Again to raise the flag for Filipino films.

"We're excited to tell the world what our film is all about. You know how Filipinos are, as filmmakers the content that we're able to bring to the table globally, I think that's just something that we are proud of. It's high time that we showcase that to the whole world. we're just very excited, we're very grateful," he said.

Currently, Hello, Love Again ranks as the 8th highest-grossing film in the US for the week, making it the first Filipino film to breakthrough the Top 10 charts for US cinemas.

Starring Alden and Kathryn Bernardo, the romance-drama movie is a sequel to the hit 2019 film Hello, Love, Goodbye about overseas Filipino workers Joy and Ethan. Hello, Love, Again depicts their bittersweet reunion in Canada after five years of separation.

The movie is a collaboration between GMA Pictures and Star Cinema and is currently showing in more than 700 cinemas nationwide. Hello, Love, Again is also screening in Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Guam, and more.
