During his pocket press conference for his Men’s Health February cover, Alden gushed, “Being given the chance na talagang makatrabaho si Yan is really an honor and a big privilege. Sobrang laki ng naitulong nito sa career ko kasi bihira lang na mabigyan ng opportunity na makatrabaho ang isang Primetime Queen ng GMA.”

He also thanked Marian for handpicking him for Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw. He shared, “’Pag pumupunta ako sa mga places like malls or anywhere else, they really know me by name na and sometimes by my character sa Carmela. It’s really a big help.”

Alden mentioned that the first time he saw Marian Rivera, he was incredibly star struck. It took him a while to get used to working with such a stunning, talented and popular leading lady.

“Talagang kapag nandiyan siya sa harapan mo, hindi mo alam kung paano ka magsasalita and you can’t look her in the eye, pero dahil lagi kaming nagkakasama sa taping, nawala na ‘yung walls at inhibitions,” said Alden.

Marian and Alden’s chemistry truly shows, and Alden credits Marian for bringing out the best in him on-screen.

“She has definitely helped me a lot when it comes to being at ease and comfortable especially now na mas nagiging deep na ‘yung story ng Carmela. It’s a working effort, and so far, we’re doing great,” said Alden.

When asked who he would like to be paired up with in his future projects, Alden named Barbie Forteza as a potential leading lady.

He explained, “Of course, since we all know na younger ako kay Yan, siguro gusto ko rin makatrabaho ‘yung younger sa akin. Siguro, si Barbie Forteza. Nakatrabaho ko na siya once for an episode in Maynila.”

The Kapuso leading man believes that it would be interesting to star in a cute, romantic comedy with the Kapuso teen actress.

He said, “Siguro, ako ‘yung teacher tapos siya ‘yung estudyante. Parang may young teacher na nagtuturo in one high school tapos nagkacrush si Barbie, then eventually, magkakagusto rin ‘yung teacher sa estudyante."

Alden added, “Si Lauren Young din. Nakatrabaho ko na siya sa Mundo Mo’y Akin pero I want to do something sana na kami lang dalawa ang magkapartner.”
