It seems like Alden Richards is facing a new chapter in his life this 2020 as he commences on surprising paths like a new hosting stint and endorsing an alcohol beverage for the first time.

Asia's Multimedia Star has been officially announced as the new ambassador of Embassy Whisky.
“I said yes to Embassy because I wanted to explore a new opportunity with a brand. It's a different endorsement for me,” Alden said during his contract signing with Embassy Whisky held at his co-owned restaurant, Concha's Garden Café in Quezon City.
“Parang it's a new opportunity to endorse a brand that has so much to offer in the market. So, I wanted to help them as much as they are helping me also,” he added.
The Kapuso star also related how Embassy Whisky complements with his personality.
“Well, Embassy's campaign, since it began, has always been 'Chill lang tayo.'
“Parang yung buhay ko kasi, it revolves around that. That very essence of the word,” he explained.
“Chill lang sa lahat ng bagay, regardless kung negative or positive man 'yan.
“You always have to think things in a chill point of view.
“Sometimes you don't have to really take things seriously in life kasi dadaan lang din 'yan.
“Its trials, nalalagpasan din 'yan. Yun ang napakagandang campaign ng Embassy, na life is all about being chill.”
Also a whisky-lover, Alden described why it became his go-to drink.
“I believe in the brand since I am a whisky drinker, I know how whiskies are, yung taste, and iba.
“Iba yung lasa nito, magugustuhan ito ng general public for sure,” he said.
ALDEN ON DEALING WITH STRESS
The Gift lead actor also gave a heartfelt advice for those who are stressed from their jobs.

“All of us have jobs every day. And all of us deal with a lot of pressure every day. Stress.
“Ang chill out tip ko lang sa inyo is really to enjoy what you're doing and find the joy within what you're doing.
“Kasi minsan-hindi naman lahat, yung mga ilan sa atin-that's what we lack, e, to find something beautiful in what we do.
“So, para hindi ma-pressure, para ma-enjoy natin yung mga bagay na ginagawa natin araw-araw, it's always about looking the beautiful side of it--the beauty within what we are doing, and being relaxed about all the situations that's coming our way and enjoying life.”
He then continued on his beliefs in life.
“Kasi, sobrang iksi ng buhay. Life is very unexpected. Today, masaya ka. Kinabukasan, you're devastated.
“There's no room for negative thinking sa buhay.
“Parang hindi dapat ine-encourage 'yan kasi hindi natin alam kung ano ang magnyayari the next days, weeks, years to come.
“Dapat relaxed lang tayo when dealing with things.
“Hindi masyadong nag-iisip ng mga bagay na hindi naman nangyayari. Be less of a pessimist.
“And i-enjoy ang buhay dahil napakasarap mabuhay, napaksayang mabuhay. And of course, you can enjoy the beauty of life with loving people around you.”
Nevertheless, the new Embassy Whisky ambassador reminds the importance of alcohol regulation.
“Well, I really considered endorsing this brand, this whisky, para po ma-promote din natin sa mga nagko-consume ng alcohol na ating mga Kapusong kababayan na, of course, we encourage the people to drink moderately.
“it's all right to enjoy, it's alright to throw parties-pero sana wag to the point na pati buhay natin at stake because of consuming alcohol.
“So that is why we're here, Embassy Whisky's here, to also promote na dapat pagdating sa pag-consume ng alak, chill lang tayo. Resposible drinking as well.”
