After revealing that he is currently the designated quarantine grocery runner of his family amid the enhanced community quarantine, Kapuso heartthrob Alden Richards gave tips for frontliners and other quarantine runners on staying safe from COVID-19.
During an Instagram Live on May 3 with his spiritual adviser Father Jeff, Alden shared what he does to keep himself safe.
"Nagsusuot ako ng face mask, at gloves if possible..."
He then gave advice for all people who still need to leave their homes for essentials.
"Ito rin advise ko sa lahat ng runners at lahat ng lumalabas, we should treat everyone as a carrier for safety. I-treat natin as lahat positive para 'yung alert level natin laging mataas."
Alden narrated what he does to stay safe whenever he leaves the house for basic necessities and errands.
"Kapag lumalabas ako, 'yung damit na sinuot ko, sa garahe pa lang doon ko na siya huhubarin.
"Hindi ko ipapasok 'yung sapatos sa loob ng bahay.
"Maghuhugas ako ng kamay, pagkapasok [ng bahay] maligo.
He also encouraged everyone to be more considerate about potentially catching COVID-19 and spreading it to others.
"Mahirap i-risk especially kapag tinamaan ng COVID-19 ang ages 60 and above medyo sila 'yung napupunta sa severe cases.
"So dapat ingatan natin sila, that's how I care for my loved ones, dapat ganoon din ang lahat ng mga nagiging runners at lumalabas.
"Isipin niyo 'yung mga taong puwedeng mahirapan kapag nagkasakit kayo.
"So take care of yourself first.
