Alden Richards was the surprise guest in Maine Mendoza’s Sparkling 22 party held at the Manila Hotel last April 27.
 
In a short speech for his leading lady, the Pambansang Bae made the crowd shriek with joy.
 
“Wala na tayong dapat patunayan sa iba,” he said.
 
He also expressed joy for meeting Maine and noted how loved she is.

Sparkling 22 was a denim and diamonds thanksgiving celebration and belated birthday party organized by fan club Maine Alliance.
