The love team's popularity has crossed over to digital icons—a first for a Southeast Asian TV show.
Aside from celebrating their first anniversary today, July 16, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza will also have a customized emoji on Twitter, a first for a Southeast Asian TV show.

Beginning noon today, two hands forming a heart will appear whenever the hashtag #AlDub1stAnniversary is used.
The entire AlDub Nation is all set to make another Twitter record for this event, after successfully producing almost 41 million tweets for #AlDubEBTamangPanahon last October 24.
