Alessandra De Rossi wrote a wonderful message for her eldest sister, Assunta De Rossi , who marked her 38th birthday last week.

Known to a lot of people for being funny, Alessandra penned a heartwarming Instagram post to her ate and even called her a "superhero."

The award-winning actress shared, “Happiest birthday to our superhero @assuntaledesma!!! Wala na akong mawiwish pa for you!

“You have always deserved the best, kaya nga ako ang binigay na first sister sa'yo. Ay teka, si Fiore na ang topic dito, miracle mom ️️️ di na muna kita lalaitin. I love you!!!!!!! Napakasaya ng buong world for you! Happy birthday! #thenotoriousderossisisters.”

Several big names in the showbiz industry also sent their well-wishes for Mommy Alessandra including highly-respected TV and movie actress Dawn Zulueta and drama actress Sandy Andolong.

The birthday girl also took to Instagram and admitted that her birthday this year is a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Assunta added that she terribly misses her family and friends during this occasion.

“Thank you to everyone who greeted me a happy birthday. As much as I would like to be grateful, I admit, I miss everyone-- my friends, family, I miss going to places... may this ordeal be over soon so we can all be reunited with our loved ones. God bless us all.”

Miracle baby

Last October, Assunta and her husband, former congressman Jules Ledesma's lives changed forever with the arrival of their miracle baby, Giulia Fiorentina Alessandra or Baby Fiore. The couple marked their 18th wedding anniversary in December 2020.
