Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi is currently in Italy to spend time with her family.

While bonding with her sisters and her parents, Alessandra also received recognition from her hometown of Martano.

The municipality recognized Alessandra's cinematic achievements which spanned from the local to the international level.

On her Instagram account, the actress shared a few photos of her receiving a plaque of recognition from Martano's representatives.

"To our fellow citizen Alessandra de Rossi for the excellent professional results achieved at an international level in the cinematographic world," the Italian text of the plaque read.

Accompanying Alessandra in receiving the recognition were her mother Nenita, her father Luigi, her sisters Assunta and Isabel, and her niece Fiore.

"Thank you @comunemartano for the recognition. See you till next time. Thanks for everything ," Alessandra wrote in the caption of her post.

Alessandra recently starred in the movie Firefly which earned her the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Manila International Film Festival in California in February.

Before this, she received many local and international acting recognitions such as Best Actress in both the 2021 Gawad Urian and 2021 FAMAS Awards for the movie Watch List, Best Actress at the 2013 ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards for the film Sta. Niña, and many more.
