Miss Supranational Portugal Cristina Carvalho shared that competing with Alethea Ambrosio was “a dream.”
Beauty pageant contestants often bring up the sisterhood that forms between them in the course of the competition, and it looks like Miss Supranational Asia & Oceania Alethea Ambrosio and Miss Supranational Portugal Cristina Carvalho have developed that sisterhood.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Cristina shared a couple of photos with Alethea along with a lengthy caption explaining the bond they have developed with each other over the course of the Miss Supranational pageant.
Cristina explained that her first meeting with Alethea involved her being “extremely honest” with her and telling her that being with her at Miss Supranational was “a dream.” Cristina also revealed that when Alethea won the Miss Supranational Asia & Oceania crown, Alethea told her that it was hers as well. She also said that she and Alethea both have strong personalities and that she has had the “great privilege of winning a great friend.”
In the caption to the post, Alethea said that Cristina made her Supra experience “incredible.”

Alethea has certainly had an incredible experience and performance at the Miss Supranational pageant, becoming the first Filipina to win the continental title of Miss Supranational Asia & Oceania 2024. She has competed in the pageant preliminaries wearing a Larry Espinosa gown and in the national costume competition wearing an Ehrran Montoya creation.
During the competition, Alethea was one of the top 10 queens on the Supra fan vote leaderboard and was also a semi-finalist for the Miss Supranational Supramodel of the Year challenge.
Alethea has also been named as a semi-finalist of the pageant's Miss Influencer opportunity.
