Still recovering emotionally from the pain of losing her baby, actress- vlogger Alex Gonzaga is staying strong for her family and husband Mikee Morada.

The social media star shared the heartbreaking news last October 17 that she suffered from miscarriage.

She shared on Instagram, “Hi. 2 months ago we found out that I was pregnant and 3 weeks ago, we got a heartbreaking news that we might be having an anembryonic pregnancy (blighted ovum). Our doctor advised us to wait for the process to naturally take its course. So we had to wait for awhile for the pregnancy to finally end before we can tell our story. The waiting and praying tested our faith and there were a lot of crying. Everyday we were clinging on to a miracle that an embryo would still appear but last Tuesday (Oct12), the Lord's will prevailed and we finally closed the book of our first pregnancy.”

Alex updated her 11 million Instagram followers about her current condition and informed them that she is staying positive, despite what happened to her.

She even uploaded a photo on Instagram Story of her and Mikee smiling together and wrote in the caption, “This was 2 days after we found out our pregnancy didn't develop. Still sad but we tried to smile.”

The Moradas also thanked everyone who supported them during this difficult period.

Alex posted this message in a separate Instagram Story, “Thank you everyone who sent their concern and messages to us ni Mikee. Salamat, naappreciate namin lahat.”

The younger sister of Toni Gonzaga tied the knot with Mikee Morada in an intimate wedding ceremony held at the Gonzaga home in Taytay, Rizal in November 2020.
