After three miscarriages, actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga has welcomed her first child with husband Mikee Morada, Lipa City vice mayor, according to a report by PEP.ph published Thursday, August 27.
Alex's mother, Mommy Pinty, confirmed the happy news in a text message to the publication, revealing that the couple welcomed a baby boy while keeping other details under wraps.
Speculation that Alex had already given birth began after she shared a series of maternity photos on August 25, accompanied by the caption, “I'll miss carrying you inside my tummy, my baby. It was like having our own little world,” along with crying-face and heart emojis.
The birth marks a special moment for the family, as Alex previously experienced three pregnancy losses. She suffered her first miscarriage in 2021, followed by a second in 2023 and a third in 2024.
After years of heartbreak, Alex announced in May 2026 that she was expecting her first child with Mikee, having conceived naturally.
The announcement came after the couple finally moved into their new home, which had been under construction for five years.
Alex and Mikee tied the knot in November 2020 at the Gonzaga family home in Taytay, Rizal.
