Alexander Lee on watching Pinoy films: "[There were] no subtitles. The good thing about the actors is that they really give you the expression, the emotions are really clear."

Got a chance to watch ‘Trip Ubusan: The Lolas vs. Zombies’ last weekend! I really wanted to watch it becuz I’m a HUGE zombie-movie fan. Thank you @direkmark for inviting us! I must say, this movie is A-MAZ-ING. Not saying this becuz director Mark is our director for ‘My Korean Jagiya’. (I give honest critique u know... cuz I suck at hiding my feelings, especially bad ones.????) The plot, the cinematography, the actors, the whole package proves that Philippines movie industry cannot be overlooked. Now I understand why this movie is graded A. This movie is so easy to understand even as a foreigner becuz the Lolas are very animated and the actors just show emotions clearly. And you will laugh, get shocked, and even cry... Tried so hard to hold my tears. ?_? Also, I became a fan of the LOLAS!!???? I regret not hugging them when I saw them in Sunday PinaSaya! Sayang~ Oh, and that little girl who plays the granddaughter, I am a BIG FAN of yours!!!???????????? Soooo impressed with her acting! Anyway, so proud of you direk!!?? Congratulations direk Mark and the entire ‘Trip Ubusan’ crew!! This is a GOOD zombie movie. Hurry go watch it n hope our feeling is mutual.???? ENJOY! #TripUbusan #TheLolasVSZombies #PinoyMovie #PinoyPride #DirekMark #MyKoreanJagiya #MKJFamily #GoodMovieWithGoodPeople #YesImBackToInstagram

Kuwento ni Xander, "We watched Trip Ubusan, and we also watched Deadma Walking. It's really good. We never thought, you know, Philippine movies could be so easy to understand. You know, even if I don't speak Tagalog. It's very easy to understand the emotion. I cried during the movie. Deadma Walking, we watched it, and it really made me cry."

Dagdag pa ni Xander, "[There were] no subtitles. The good thing about the actors is that they really give you the expression, the emotions are really clear. You don't have to understand what they're saying, you don't really have to understand everything, it's really easy to understand. That's a good thing. That's why I don't have to nosebleed, you know."
