Alice Dixson has been a victim of the "taong ahas" urban legend in a mall in Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City.
Seasoned actress Alice Dixson promised to tell the truth in an alleged incident that happened 30 years ago at a shopping mall in Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City.
According to urban legend, there was once a snake, Robina Gokongwei-Pe's “twin brother,” that lived under the dressing rooms of Robinson's Galleria.
Once the half-snake, half-human finds a woman it likes, it would flip a switch that will make the woman drop through a hole in the floor.
Dixson was said to have survived the encounter but was allegedly paid by the Gokongwei family to keep her silent.
In a post on Instagram, Alice uploaded a teaser when she went back to Robinson's Galleria and promised to reveal her side.
She wrote in the caption, “Mahal kong kababayans, hindi ko gustong buhayin ang chismis; that is the farthest from my intention.
"Nais ko lang linawin ang mga naganap sa Robinson's Galleria nung dalaga pa ako.
“I made a promise to a dear friend. I said I would tell my side of the story this year at dahil 30th anniversary na this month, it is NOW time.
“Yes, 3 decades na! And I've never said a word or explained my side.”
Alice said that people should expect her explanation on her YouTube channel.
In 2018, Alice and the “taong ahas” urban legend were once again put on the spotlight when the video ad that she did for the said mall went viral.
In an interview with the defunct talk show Sarap Diva in December 2016, Alice shed light on the story, "Supposedly, pero hindi 'yan totoo!"
