Her first big break is a testament to the power of the internet. About two years ago, Alyssa Alano burst into showbiz with her very own endearing version of the song, Kiss Me. The video clip spread like wildfire online. The rest, as they say, is history. In the past two years, Alyssa has become one of FHM’s hottest ladies. This was even before she has her breast enhancement, an undertaking that she very openly revealed in Startalk. Why did she decide to have the procedure? “Kasi nahirapan lang kasi ako mag-suot ng silicon bra.” She says with a laugh then seriously adds, “Kailangan sa trabaho pati kasi mas maganda tignan.” Was it painful? She replies candidly, “Oo, sobrang sakit pero tolerable naman ‘yung pain. Kaya naman.” Startalk Stuff She has come a long way since “Kiss Me.” She has appeared in several shows and films. Now, she is one of the hosts of the premiere authority in showbiz news, Recently, Startalk celebrated its 12th year anniversary. With Alyssa as the newest addition in the team, iGMA asked her how it feels to host alongside the likes of Joey de Leon and Lorna Tolentino. She answers honestly, “Siguro kung ‘di ko pa sila nakakasama, mahihirapan ako makisama kasi ‘di ko pa sila kilala. Pero nakilala ko naman sila na mababait, lahat naman sila sinusuportahan ako.” Still simple and humble, she chooses to downplay what she has been able to accomplish so far. When asked what she thinks she brings into the already powerful team of Startalk, she answers with, “Wala lang…” Then she explains further, “Kasi ano, nag-eenjoy lang si Tito Joey, pinapatawa ko lang.” She then shares how she has learned a lot from her co-hosts whom she respects and admires. “Natutunan ko sa kanila, tamang pang-adlib. Kasi wala naman akong script.” As a last note, iGMA asked this adorable turned alluring actress what kind of showbiz gossip she hopes she never gets saddled with. She ponders then bursts out, “Yung buntis… ‘yun na ‘yung pinaka-worse. Na-lilink sa may mga asawa!” Despite her sexier looks, iGMA is glad to report that Alyssa you once knew is still the same.
