Alodia Gosiengfiao and Christopher Quimbo are surely excited soon-to-be parents
Recently, cosplayer and former iBilib host Alodia Gosiengfiao surprised netizens by announcing she's expecting a baby with her non-showbiz husband Christopher Quimbo.
The couple shared their joyous news on Instagram, posting a video revealing an ultrasound photo of their baby. Alodia continues to update her followers with another Reel on Instagram, capturing the moment when she and Christopher first learned of the pregnancy.
In the video, Alodia shows the pregnancy test stick to the camera and then calls Christopher over to confirm the results. Her husband's face lights up with joy upon seeing the positive result, and he happily confirms it.
Later in the video, Alodia asks Christopher if he is excited to become a father. His heartfelt response was, "I don't think that's the right word. I'm like more than excited. I've always felt like I was a dad. But now like, I'm coming into my own, you know. I think I was destined for this."
They continued their conversation lovingly, with Christopher asking about the baby's gender. Alodia expressed her feeling that it might be a boy.
Christopher jokingly reminisced about his childhood, sharing that his mother was convinced he was going to be a girl and had prepared girly things for him.
Together with the video, Alodia captioned the post, "The moment we found out."
Their followers and friends flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages, expressing how heartwarming and adorable their moment was. Well-known personalities like Mikey Bustos also joined in to congratulate their friend.

It was on Valentine's Day last year when Alodia and Christopher tied the knot in a glamorous ceremony at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport City, Pasay.
Their engagement was announced in July 2022 through a seven-minute video titled "A New Journey," which Alodia uploaded on her YouTube channel.
