"Through ups and downs, nandito pa rin kami sa isa't isa," Althea said as her good friend Jillian Ward celebrated her 18th birthday.
The bond between former Prima Donnas co-stars Jillian Ward and Althea Ablan remained stronger than ever.
Although it's been almost a year since the top-rated GMA Afternoon Prime series aired and they are already doing different shows, Althea was still happy that she got to witness Jillian's explosive debut at Cove Manila on Saturday, February 25.
"'Yung pinakahindi ko makakalimutang memory kay Jillian is siyempre, two years kaming nagkasama sa Prima Donnas,' so doon talaga kami naging close," Althea, who is set to star in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series AraBella, said to GMANetwork.com.
"Actually, 'yung first meet namin sa Super Ma'am, so sinabi ko na sa kanya, 'Oh my God, sobrang idol kita. Napapanood kita.' Tapos ayun, nagsama kami sa Prima Donnas, sobrang dami na naming memories doon.
"Through ups and downs, nandito pa rin kami sa isa't isa."
Now that her friend turned 18, Althea has only one wish: for Jillian to always choose and do whatever that makes her happy.
"Ngayon na 18 na siya, wish ko sa kanya na siyempre, choose happiness palagi. At tsaka, continue na mag-shine siya kung ano 'yung mga ginagawa niya ngayon, ipagpatuloy niya lang 'yun dahil maraming sumusuporta sa kanya, at isa na ako doon."
Aside from Althea, also present in Jillian's debut were her former Prima Donnas co-stars Elijah Alejo, Miggs Cuaderno, Eunice Lagusad, Mel Kimura, Jemwell Ventenilla, among others.
