Singer-actress Alyssa Gibbs finally got married to her long-time fiance, Anton Cruz.

The actress made the announcement in a post on Instagram that they got married on November 27 at The Palm House, Australia.

“After a 5-year engagement, we finally got hitched!” she captioned her post.

In a separate post, Anton posted almost the same pictures with a different caption.

“Finally got married to the love of my life,” he said.

Alyssa is the daughter of singer-actor Janno Gibbs and actress Bing Loyzaga.

Family, friends, and other celebrities congratulated the couple and sent best wishes to them. Among those who greeted them are vlogger Kryz Uy, influencer Inka Magnaye, and actress Bea Binene.

Alyssa's cousin, Diego Loyzaga, also extended his congratulations to the couple.

“Congrats kuya. I'm sorry I'm not there. But still, congrats,” he commented on Anton's post.

It can be recalled that the couple was supposed to get married on April 5, 2020. However, they had to postpone it due to the pandemic and instead, posted a short video of their October trip on that day.

“One way or another it'll happen in God's perfect time,” she captioned the post.

Chii is one of the celebrities who got married this year. Recently, former actress Serena Dalrymple married her long-time boyfriend Thomas Bredillet in an outdoor wedding in New Hampshire.

While Chii and Anton married after five years, it took Donita Rose and her husband Felson Palad 37 years before they got married. The two got married in September in California.

Earlier this year, vocalist of rock band Hale Champ Lui Pio married his non-showbiz partner Claire Nery in an intimate ceremony in Alabang attended only by their family and closest friends.
