Alyssa Muhlach is now engaged to Chris Young!
Beauty queen Alyssa Muhlach steps closer to her happily ever after as she's now engaged to her longtime boyfriend, podcast host Chris Young.
On social media, Alyssa happily shared photos and videos from the romantic proposal.
It was revealed that she initially thought it was a special photoshoot with her mother, Almira Muhlach. But as the curtain moved, it revealed Chris waiting in a dreamy setup of flowers, candles, and white curtains.
As the podcast star popped the question on one knee, Alyssa didn't hesitate and said yes.
"Ten years ago, our story began. Today, our forever begins," she wrote in the captions.
In another post, Alyssa penned a heartfelt message to her now-fiancé.
"The right man will show you what true love looks like. Never settle for less… Here's to forever with the love of my life, Chris Young—and to the happiest yes of my life," she said.
The beauty queen also reflected on their decade together, filled with love and support. Alyssa thanked Chris for his continued love, which she described as a reflection of patience, selflessness, and Christ-like.
"That's exactly why I said yes. We never rushed into marriage. We chose to grow first—individually, in faith, and in purpose. Instead of 'figuring it out later,' we built our relationship intentionally, continuing to choose each other every step of the way—a love we believe will last a lifetime," she said.
Alyssa also shared that she will never forget the dreamy proposal designed by Gideon Hermosa. She thanked everyone behind the romantic surprise, including Nice Print Photography, Juan Carlo The Caterer, and Events by Amanda Tirol.
"My heart is overflowing with gratitude and love, because the man I'm about to marry next year is the very man I once prayed for. All praise to God!" she added.
Alyssa is the daughter of Almira Muhlach and basketball player Paul Alvarez. Meanwhile, Chris is known as the host of the podcast He Said, She Said with Alyssa.
The two have been in a relationship since 2016.
