After the success of its North Central Luzon roadshow, the powerhouse cast of Amaya is again set to bring the Kapuso Network epicserye experience to the road, this time among their fans in Cebu. Thousands of Kapuso viewers went out of their homes and crowded the streets of Pangasinan, Pampanga, and Nueva Ecija when the stars of Amaya, led by Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, invaded the provinces with a two-day series of events at the beginning of this month. Now, the Cebuanos’ turn to see their favorite Amaya characters up close has just started upon the visit of Marian, together with Rochelle Pangilinan, Glaiza de Castro, Sid Lucero, Mikael Daez, and Dion Ignacio in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu yesterday and today (June 30-July 1). During the first day of their visit yesterday, the Amaya cast dropped by the Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School Annex where they shared an entertaining and educational afternoon with the students. The stars then performed live in front of their fans and played some exciting games with the audience during the Kapuso Mall Show at Gaisano Grand Mall, Lapu-Lapu. Marian was also the special guest at the Cebu Business Month’s Grand Chamber Awards and Fellowship Night which was held at Radisson Blu Hotel on the same night. The Mabolo National High School is next for the Kapuso Campus Tour today, Friday, at 8:00 in the morning. At 9:00 am, the stars will head out to the streets of Cebu for the much-awaited Amaya motorcade. Marian, Rochelle, Glaiza, Sid, Mikael, and Dion will don their amazing costumes as they ride the float built like the Karakoa ship in the epic series, from Fuente Osmeña Circle to Juan Luna Street. To cap off the day, the cast will bring the people to SM City Cebu Covered Parking for a fun-filled Kapuso Night at 5pm. Amaya, which is created by the GMA Entertainment TV Group, is another first in the television industry for its original concept and innovative storyline.
