GMA FantaSeries is transporting us to the golden age of Chinese arts and culture with a new historical fantasy drama coming this May!

An Oriental Odyssey is a Chinese fantasy series that's based on Miao Juan's novel and stars actors Janice Wu (Ye Yuan An), Zheng Ye Cheng (Mu Le), and Zhang Yu Jian (Zhao Lan Zhi). The ensemble cast also includes Kiki Dong, Yuan Wen Kang, Liu Tian Zuo, and many more.

The historical fantasy drama is set during the well-regarded Tang Dynasty and centers around the budding friendship between Ye Yuan An, Mu Le, and Zhao Lan Zhi.

Ye Yuan An, the eldest daughter of the Assistant Minister of Revenue, is a stubborn highborn who has a passion for solving crimes and helping out other people. With pure intentions, she buys off Mu Le, a poor amnesiac young man to become her family's servant and help him out.

Because of her genuine kindness and compassion, Mu Le swears his loyalty to Ye Yuan An. Together, they will encounter Zhao Lan Zhi, a wise and intelligent constable with a knack for solving crimes. As the three seek justice for all the crimes they're dealing with, they will form a strong bond that will shackle the lives of corrupt and greedy highborns.

Mornings will forever be changed with the release of An Oriental Odyssey on GMA FantaSeries this May 22, 2023. The groundbreaking historical Chinese fantasy drama will air from Mondays to Fridays at 8:25 a.m.
