As the historical fantasy Chinese drama An Oriental Odyssey continues on GMA FantaSeries, Yuan An sends Mu Le to the barracks thinking this would do good for him but the latter experienced the opposite and became the soldiers' punching bag.

At the barracks, Mu Le was bullied by Li Bao who, later on, provokes the poor amnesiac to punch him. Never backing down, Mu Le falls for Li Bao's trap and challenges the latter to fight him.

Li Bao secretly colluded with Deputy Li to punish Mu Le for his actions. But Zhao Lanzhi came in time to get in the way and stop Vice President Li from interfering. Deputy Li had no choice but to let Mu Le and Li Bao be.

A disappointed Deputy Li told Li Bao to come up with a new plan. Li Bao, with the help of the soldiers, set up Mu Le and pretended that the money bag was stolen. The group searched Mu Le's bag and discovered the money Yuan An gave to Mu Le.

Deputy Li came in time for the scene and pretended to seek justice. He and his people tied up Mu Le to a horse to have his body get dragged by the animal and teach him a lesson. Yuan An and Lan Zhi arrived at the scene to stop the shenanigans.

Yuan An stood up for Mu Le and marked the money she gave him. Once she explained this to everyone, Deputy Li and Li Bao became speechless. Mu Le, on the other hand, was furious at Yuan An for sending him to the military camp.
