During the second week of 'An Oriental Odyssey,' Lan Zhi is faced with a tough decision to make.
As the historical fantasy Chinese drama An Oriental Odyssey continues on GMA FantaSeries, General Lan Zhi is in a state of chaos as he tries to find the missing painting which belonged to the royal palace.
Desperate to find answers, he listens to the captured thief's tip and ended up at Luotiandong with his men. The thief set them up and were, later on, attacked by Huo Yang and his people. With compassion for his wounded men, Lan Zhi let them go and followed Huo Yang into Luotian Cave all by himself.
Huo Yang made Lan Zhi admit what he was on a quest for and revealed that he was looking for the missing painting. In the possession of Huo Yang, Lan Zhi follows him further into the cave and does as he says.
From there Huo Yang reveals Lan Zhi's identity to everyone, saying that he's a noble and righteous general who seeks justice for the oppressed. He was then presented with three robbers which Huo Yang asks him to kill. In return, Huo Yang will give the painting.
Lan Zhi removes the robbers' masks and finds out that it is Ye Yuan An, her brother, and Mu Le all along. Soon as he discovers this, Huo Yang traps them in a steel cage and sets out to drown them.
