Bubble Gang actress Analyn Barro was beaming with happiness after starting 2026 with a new recognition.

The multi-talented Sparkle star bagged the Best Comedian recognition in the first-ever GMANetwork.com Awards 2025.

Annalyn is one of the top comediennes of GMA-7 and is the face of several Bubble Gang sketches like “What is the Meaning of This?” and “Lulu De Lulu.”

After receiving the plaque in All-Out Sundays on January 11, the Kapuso comedian dedicated her new recognition to all of her supporters who have been there from the start.

“Para sa mga naniwala at patuloy pang naniniwala. I am humbled. Maraming Salamat po.”

Many celebrities also congratulated Annalyn for taking home the award, including PMPC Star Awards for Television Best Comedy Actress Chariz Solomon, Thea Tolentino, and EA Guzman.

In her quick chat with GMANetwork.com, winning the award came as a surprise for Annalyn, especially as she was competing with the likes of Paolo Contis, Kokoy de Santos, and Chariz in the same category.

“Ang dami natin magagaling na comedian sa GMA and bagging this, parang masyado siyang 'Whoa! Bakit ako?' Analyn admitted.

She added, “Deserve ko ba 'to? Parang ganun. Kasi for me ang daming mas deserving kesa sa akin. Kung puwede lang lahat kami manalo e, mas gugustuhin ko 'yun. Gusto ko lang din i-congratulate lahat ng mga na-nominate dun sa Comedian of the Year. Kasi being nominated pa lang, parang malaking bagay na po siya.”

“Malaking pasasalamat sa GMANetwork.com Awards sa first nilang awarding na ganito. And siyempre sa GMA Network, sa Sparkle family, at siyempre sa Bubble Gang family ko, kasi hindi ko po ito magagawa kung hindi ako naging parte ng Bubble Gang.”
