Inspired by her trip to Bali, Andi Eigenmann has taken the time to learn some Indonesian dishes which she and her family loved.

Actress and vlogger Andi Eigenmann recently went on a trip to Bali, Indonesia with her family.

She spent her 32nd birthday there with her daughter Ellie, her fiance and surf champion Philmar Alipayo and their kids Lilo and Koa.

Andi was amazed by healthy food options she and her family had in Bali.

"The healthy options in Bali really helped kickstart or journey back to our old wholesome ways. As you can see, we indulged in gelato almost all days 😂," she wrote on Instagram.

"We also really loved the creative combos of all their fruits and vege into their smoothies and juices! But we most especially love all the Indonesian flavors and coming to eat at the local warungs for lunch was such a treat for us! (My meals would cost 80-100 pesos)," Andi continued.

She also noted that the ingredients used in Indonesian cuisine are similar to what you can get in Philippines.

Inspired by this fact, as well as how much she and her family enjoyed Indonesian cuisine, Andi learned to cook a few Indonesian dishes which they loved so she can re-crate them when they get back home.

"All their local flavors are easily found in the Philippines as well, which is why I took the time to learn how to cook some of our favorite Indonesian food," her caption read.

Some of the dishes she learned to cook are are nasi goreng or fried rice, ayam goreng or Indonesian fried chicken and sauces like red sambal and sambal matah.

"While we were in Bali, I made sure to take the time to finally learn how to cook some of the fam's local Indonesian faves. We made some Nasi Goreng (fried rice), Ayam Goreng (turmeric, lime - marinated chicken) and my favorite spicy sauces: the red sambal and sambal matah!" she shared on Instagram with some photos of the food she cooked.
