Andi Eigenmann

Moving forward, Andi will continue to focus on the good thing.

A month after Jaclyn Jose's death last March 2, her daughter Andi Eigenmann uploaded a new vlog where she shared the updates about life after her mom passed away and her brother's trip to Siargao.

She thanked everyone who supported her during the hardest part of her life and shared that life without her mother “have not been easy.”

Andi also got emotional when she talked about how Jaclyn supported her and her YouTube channel, Happy Islanders. She also shared that Jaclyn and her family were the purpose why she started the vlog.

“She has always been the biggest Happy Islanders fan, and the whole purpose of [my] creating a vlog was also because [of my] being away from my family. Having Happy Islanders was the best way for me to keep her updated with my life [in Siargao],” she said.

Andi also added, “She's been my biggest fan and everything that I do. She loved Happy Islanders and our videos all the time.”

The actress also revealed that the last video Jaclyn watched was their latest upload on their YouTube channel before she passed.

Her bittersweet memories of Jaclyn, as well as her untimely death, prompted Andi to live and embody new values in life. Andi said that, despite the challenge of her mother's death, she wanted to spend more time with her family and “focus on the good thing” and “what's there,” and to make the most out of her and her family's time together.

On top of it all, Andi also had another thing she shared with fans.

“Losing my nanay at such an unexpected time is proof that you don't know what tomorrow brings.”

As part of her new mantra in life, Andi spent time with her US-based brother Gwen Garimond Guck and went around the island of Siargao where they surfed, ate, and island-hopped together.
