Marami nang naisulat at nabasa tungkol sa pagkakatanggal ni Kiko Rustia sa
Survivor Philippines. Kaya tinanong siya ng iGMA what his plans are post-
Survivor.
"Everything has been doing well, and I'm happy," sabi ni Kiko.
He keeps things positive. And kahit sinasabihan siya na sayang ang pagkakatanggal sa kanya, sabi pa niya, "I don't look at it as sayang eh, I see it na lang as an opportunity."

So life is steady for Kiko. Except for the part na marami siyang TV appearances right after getting voted off the show. "May live chat, may guestings ako na natatanggap."
The survivor shares na nag-eenjoy talaga siya dito: "'Yung ibang guestings, they get my opinion about certain things—which is nice, kasi I really enjoy that."
As fans of the reality show can attest to, Kiko doesn't hesitate from expressing his feelings and opinions. "I love being thrown ideas and throwing back ideas. So okay naman."
Pagkatapos ng stint niya sa
Survivor, Kiko says na bumalik na siya sa pagtulong sa business ng family niya. But more than that, he has sort of found a new calling. "I’m not trying to preach anything. It’s just a small reminder."
Kiko is referring to the baller IDs na ipinamimigay niya sa mga humihingi. It’s an orange band that says 'Survivor ang Pinoy.'
"It’s nothing big. I just want to remind people na we Filipinos are born survivors. We stood against wars, we stood against colonization, we've been plundered by so many countries, we suffered so many losses, and yet we’re still here. We’re still Filipinos. It’s just sad na dahil sa mga economic problems, political, everything—we forget. Nag-iinterfight na tayo-tayo lang, na all we have to do is hold on believe in each other and stick together and we can make it through."
He adds na nakuha niya 'yung idea sa mga street children na humihingi sa kanya ng mga suot niyang bracelet, which he couldn't give away because of their sentimental value.
"I think I became quite a novelty to kids. Naisip ko, why not leave them with something. So what I did, para may maibigay ako, I had this bracelet made. Sabi ko kasi, if I’m gonna give them something, why not give them [a reminder] of me, and at the same time, leave them with a strong message."
So when you see a bright orange baller ID that has a caricature of Kiko's head, ito ang gusto niyang mangyari: "Kung hindi mo susuotin, pasa mo to someone. Para lang i-remind 'yung mga tao na ang Pilipino, survivor. So it’s not really a grand thing, hindi ako nangangampanya or something. It’s my small contribution in trying to make my country a better place. A little reminder lang."
Dagdag pa niya, "We have so much to offer, it’s about time to step up and make that change."
