Kapuso heartthrobs Andre and Kobe Paras posted a sweet message to their stepmom, Lyxen Diomampo, thanking her for the love and support she gave them through the years.

Basketball sensation Kobe, who is playing for the LA Cathedral Phantoms, posted a black and white photo of him with his stepmom on Instagram saying, “Happy Mother's day to the most special & beautiful mom out there! Even though no one will ever understand the things we've been through we'll always have each other, forever. Thank you for always being by my side through thick & thin! How I wish I was back home right now to spend this lovely day with you! I love you, ma! #HappyMothersDay”

Meanwhile, The Half Sisters lead star Andre Paras posted a collage of old photos of him and Lyxen. He said he feels secure knowing that she is always beside him.

He described his stepmom as his best friend and sister, and expressed his gratitude for all the sacrifices she made for them.

“this is my beautiful and never aging mom. I don't fear anything when something goes wrong because I know you'll be the one to make it right. I know a lot has been happening but it doesn't bother me because I know we will always be there for one another. You will always be my best friend, sister and mommy. Thank you for all the sacrifices you've made. I will forever love you”
