The Paras brothers also shared an important financial lesson they wish they knew about earlier.

Andre and Kobe Paras may be relatively young, 25 and 23 years of age respectively, but as early as now they're motivated to prepare for their future by planning for their dream businesses and managing their money wisely.

In Manulife's recent webinar titled “Ready, Set, #Goals,” celebrity siblings Andre and Kobe reveal what businesses they dream of putting up one day if they were given X amount as capital.

Kapuso actor and 'Game of the Gens' host Andre Paras said, “My dream is to own real estate. I'd go with maybe buying a lot of real estates, like maybe lots and houses, because like what I learned a while ago from Sir Kito, I think he's the one who mentioned it, that you know, (with) real estate the value goes up maybe through time.

“And maybe (I'd) do a couple of franchises, maybe franchise some of my favorite restaurants, or bring in some brands from other countries, you know, for people to try, but that's if I have the right amount of money that's given to me. “

Meanwhile, his brother Kobe Paras, who's a basketball player and brand endorser, wants to put up a business in a place that he fell in love with.

“I fell in love with the beach, so I want to put up like a hotel, or you know, maybe a resort by the beach.

“When I went to Palawan, you know, I already had a vision of having my own place there, and you know, having a bar, having my own set-up.

“So, maybe one day when I get that much money or the amount that I need, you know, I can invest in (that), put up my own resort.”

The Paras siblings also shared some financial advice for millennials ang Gen Z people.

Kobe emphasized the importance of saving up for the rainy days.

“I think you just have to, you know, just do what you love and just save. As much as you want to buy something, or you have the urge to get something, just save.

“Especially with what happened to everyone last year, you know, the pandemic really hit us really hard.

“So, you know, the best advice that I got from my mentors and my parents was just to save my money and just focus on what I love to do.”

Andre on the other hand, underlined why staying healthy is also actually a great financial advice.

“I do believe if you invest in yourself, for example by, you know, eating the right food, working out, you're healthy. And if you're healthy, you get to do more work and if you get to do more work, you get to save more, and you get to be more productive.”
