Kapuso leading lady Andrea Torres is known for her dramatic and romantic comedy roles on television. Now, the pretty actress is keen on showing a different side of her as she joins the wacky cast of Bubble Gang.

We asked Andrea how it feels to be a regular in the longest-running gag show in the Philippines. She replied, “Masaya, kasi siyempre nag-eenjoy talaga ako nung nag-guguest pa lang ako, so siyempre ngayon na regular na ako, every Monday talagang kasama ako sa grupo. Mas nafi-feel ko siya. Mas masaya.”

She enjoys every taping day because her co-stars are also her friends.

Andrea shared, “Everytime na nagte-taping dito, talagang nakikita mong nagiging mas close at nagkakaroon ng bonding. Memorable yung mga simpleng kulitan namin. Laging ganun sa set.”

Was it easy for her to transition from doing romantic comedy in With A Smile to full-on comedy in Bubble Gang?

“Siguro, tama rin ‘yung timing kasi from my previous show, [With A Smile] na super light and kulitan, ngayon, mas nalalabas ko ‘yung kalog side ko. Tama lang ‘yung transition. Naeenjoy ko siya, especially coming from a show na grabe ‘yung schedule, something new naman,”she said.

Are there new projects lined up for her already?

The statuesque actress replied, “Ang alam ko, next year pa, so ngayon, more on Bubble Gang and Sunday All Stars. More on pahinga. Kailangan mag-igib muna ng pang-iyak ulit.”
