This 2017, primetime viewing will never be the same as GMA Network rings in the New Year with an original series that transcends cultural lines and language barriers. Join multi-talented Kapuso best actress and Drama Sweetheart Barbie Forteza as she stars in Meant to Be.

This program is a refreshing, fun and light romance drama that tells about the extraordinary journey of Billie (Barbie) to finding love, as a daughter, a sister and a life partner. 

In the story, Billie is a typical millennial with a lot of issues in life. Nothing goes her way—simula sa kanyang dream career of becoming a news reporter, to making her parents get back together, hanggang sa pag-tulong niya sa kuya niya na kumayod sa life. 

However, her life turns upside down when she meets four guys of different nationalities: 
Introducing Ivan Dorshner, Addy Raj and our Kapuso leading men Jak Roberto and Ken Chan. 

Ivan Dorschner is Ethan Spencer-Hughes, ang gentleman from the United Kingdom. Sa London siya lumaki with his dad. Hugh is the ideal guy, perfect boyfriend material. He's charming and romantic. At kung magmahal, isa lang talaga. He inherited a huge amount of money from his dad and decided to settle here in the Philippines para mapalapit sa nanay niya na may iba ng pamilya. 

Addy Raj is Jai Patel, ang man from Mumbai. Parang Bollywood film ang buhay niya, palaging may song and dance. He's hyper and super friendly. Wala siyang sineseryoso sa buhay maski babae. 

Jak Roberto is Macoy De La Cruz, ang pure Pinoy among the boys. Siya lang din ang middle class sa kanilang apat. Mahiyain siya at parati lang sumusunod sa kung ano ang sabihin sa kanya. Pati tuloy sa panliligaw torpe siya.

And Ken Chan is Yuan Lee, ang Chinoy bad boy. Mainitin ang ulo niya dahil marami siyang angst sa buhay. Illegitimate son siya ng isang mayamang Chinese businessman. Kahit ano ang gawin niya to be the ideal son, he doesn't measure up to his father's standards. As a result, nagrebelde siya at ibinubuhos ang lahat ng kanyang frustration sa sports. 

As fate would have it, all four will eventually fall in love with Billie and their friendship will be put to the test. Cultures will clash and various complications will arise in their respective families and love lives. How will the four boys compete for the love of one girl and how can that girl choose just one?

Adding spice to the adventures of Billie, Ethan, Jai, Macoy and Yuan is an A-list roster of cast featuring Manilyn Reynes as Amelia, Sheryl Cruz as Beatriz, Tina Paner as Lucy, Keempee de Leon as Willy, Sef Cadayona as Bats with the special participation of Ms. Gloria Romero as Lola Madj with Stephanie Sol as Cacai, Zymic Jaranilla as Toti and Mika Dela Cruz as Mariko in her first GMA drama.
