Angel Guardian has opened up about her lifelong passion for music and singing.
Blossoming in her acting career, Angel Guardian revealed that her childhood dream of singing still inspires her to pursue that path today.
In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com during her Kapuso Profiles shoot, the Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre actress shared that she also wants to explore a career in music and singing alongside her acting projects.
“Ayoko siyang kalimutan, kasi sobrang mahal ko 'yung pagkanta, sobrang mahal ko 'yung music,” she said.
The Sparkle artist shared that her love for music began when she was five years old, inspired by her church, which is why singing remains so close to her heart.
“Gusto ko pa siya i-pursue, gusto ko pa na mas lumalim yung relationship ko with music. I love doing it, so why not di ba. Sayang naman!” Angel shared.
When asked whether she will be pursuing a singing career anytime soon, she said she has always wanted to, but for now, she is grateful for her acting gigs.
“Tagal ko na talaga siyang gusto. Before ako pumasok ng industry, 'yun na talaga yung gusto ko. 'Yun lang naman pangarap ko. Pangarap ko lang maging gospel singer dati. Feeling ko sa church ako natuto kumanta, natuto maggitara, syempre, 'yun 'yung environment. 'Yun lang yung dream ko dati,” she said.
She added, “Ngayon mahal ko na rin yung pag-arte pero kung tatanungin mo ako, iba 'yung love ko sa music. So, hindi talaga siya new sa akin na gustuuhin kong i-pursue, it's just that, ngayon, ito yung binibigay sa akin, nandito tayo sa path na nasa acting ako ngayon.”
